Vuela Apartment Banner

Vuela needed a 40-foot exterior banner installed across multiple stories of an apartment building.

Challenge

Vuela needed a 40-foot exterior banner installed across multiple stories of an apartment building. The job required careful planning around height, lift access, a tight parking lot, sidewalk and street safety, weather exposure, and an active building exterior. Even with a 70-foot straight boom lift, the top of the banner was difficult to reach at the needed height and angle.

AP Approach

AP completed a site survey ahead of time to confirm access, lift size, and hardware needs. On install day, a three-person crew used the 70-foot boom lift to position the grommeted banner against the building’s existing track and hook system, securing it with carabiners and zip ties. When the lift could not reach the top edge, AP adjusted in the field and used rooftop access to help hold and secure the upper section.
