Challenge
BizTown PDX needed the existing wall graphics inside the Unitus Banking Center removed and replaced with updated graphics across two large walls.
- Remove the existing graphics
- Patch the walls
- Paint the walls
- Properly seal the surfaces
- Prepare everything for installation the following day
AP Approach
AP completed the project over two days with a three-person crew.
Day One
The team removed the existing graphics, patched and painted the walls, and applied Zinsser water-based specialty surface sealer. The sealer was then allowed to cure for approximately 24 hours.
Day Two
The AP crew returned and installed Arlon 8200 with matte laminate across both large walls. The installation was completed cleanly and efficiently. The project also provided a hands-on training opportunity for a developing installer.
Timeline
August 3–4, 2026. Two-day project. The new graphics were installed on day two in approximately 2.5 hours, from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
